Holiday Baking 2012: Coffee House Style

Every Christmas my mom and I bake goodies and share them with our friends and family. Every year I'm in charge of the holiday biscotti (pistachios, cranberries drizzled with chocolate) but this year we veered from tradition and tackled some other recipes.

As we were browsing, we can upon an article in Bon Appetit featuring coffee house desserts. So this year we made Black Seasame Pear Tea Cake and Parmesan Fennel Shortbread Cookies. I have to say it was quite a hit. I'll surely be baking these more often than just the holidays.
